“Trauma compromises our ability to engage with others by replacing patterns of connection with patterns of protection.”

About my practice
I bring over a decade of clinical experience focused on trauma recovery with children, youth, adults, and families.
I am a Master’s Certified Expressive Arts Therapist with a minor in Psychology, Certified Practitioner of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (trauma focused talk therapy), and Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate.
My work integrates creative, body-centered approaches with a strong understanding of the neurobiological impacts of trauma and attachment wounding. I work with people navigating a wide range of experiences—particularly those who feel their habitual ways of coping are now getting in the way of their connection with themselves, others, and the world.
In our work together, we will gently explore the wisdom held in your body, mind, and long-standing patterns. I’ll support you in discovering what your unique system needs to feel grounded and resourced, while making space for more moments of peace, freedom, and connection.
My practice is grounded in harm reduction, anti-oppression, intuitive creativity and a committed meditation practice.
The foundations of mindfulness, creative arts therapies, and somatic therapies are influenced by ancient wisdom traditions—particularly those rooted in Indigenous cultures across the globe and Eastern spiritual and philosophical lineages. I recognize that many of the tools and practices I use have grown out of these traditions, and I strive to honour their origins by engaging with them thoughtfully, respectfully, and with a commitment to ongoing learning and accountability.
I am privileged to be living and working on Unama’ki, the land of fog, unceded and traditional territory of the Mi’kmaw People.
